At The Backyard Gardener,
I have been providing custom floral designs for weddings and special
events since 2001. I strive to individualize each event to reflect the
client's style, personality and overall vision. This is achieved through
personal, one on one consultations with me, Kim Zylstra, owner and head
floral designer.
Having graduated with a degree in both Horticulture and
Landscape Design, I learned that color, texture, and form are important
in creating beautiful outdoor spaces. I apply this in my floral design
work as well. I feel that my knowledge of plants, love of gardening and
passion for flowers shows in my work. My meticulous attention to detail,
and pride in good service guarantees that each event I design will be
beautiful.
